Hi all,

Just looking for a bit of advice. The amber warning light pops up intermittently along with "check Injection" warning. Taken to Renault and can find no fault. Cleared all fault and it stayed off for a few days, then started coming up intermittently again. No performance issues at all. Could spend a lot of money trouble shooting this. Anyone had the same issue?

I was thinking to reset/reboot the ECU. Seen the disconnect battery for 15/20 method and also remove the fuse method. Would either/both of these work to reboot the ECU?

Hi HoggyD,

Did you get to the bottom of this issue with your car?

I have the exact same problem. "Check Injection" comes up randomly. Can stay on for a few days and then just goes away for a while.
Took my Kadjar to an injection specialist a couple of weeks ago and all they could find was a single faulty glow plug. It's done 110k miles so had the plugs replaced despite them thinking that it probably wasn't the root cause. Sure enough, fault light came up again a couple of days later.
No loss of power  but it's a pain that I lose cruise control when the fault is present.

Hi. I got the same problem recently. Spanner light came up with message of 'check injection' on long drive. When I stopped the car. Started again and then it's gone. Again on long drive it came again and gone with the same way. I haven't had any driving issue.  I thought to have a check through renault garage but someone suggested if the fault is not memorised they won't be able to detect and fault diagnosis is quite expensive. Now I'm confused to go for fault diagnosis or not.
