Hi all.

Taking my mum out today and she felt ill. By the time I ran in the house for a bowl she had vomited over the centre console, down the seat etc. Only had it a week from new lol. I need to remove the passenger seat, is there anything I should know
about? It's an S edition 1.5 diesel.

Many thanks

Gareth

Sorry to hear about the result of your Mum's illness.

Never tried it, but I would have thought it is fairly standard removal and obviously don't forget the electrics going to the seat

Disconnect the battery first, before unplugging the seat. It’ll save having to get the air bag light reset.

Just four bolts unplug, headrest off and man over out of the car.

I would also put some protection, like a blanket or something on the sill opening and cover the door if you can. It’s a bit of a juggling act to get it out, precautions just in case of catching anything.

Alternative straight out the tail gate.

The panels on the centre console unclip easily enough, so it should be pretty easy to actually remove the carpet if you need to clean out side the car.
