good evening guys!!
I have a Renault Kadjar bose edition 1.5 dci.
I followed Daren's instructions to downgrade the unit
R-link 2 for android auto and carplay to work.
First I upgraded to version 3 and after that Android auto worked fine but not carplay.
So I bought the new usb drive 280239665R_ _ _C2 (the one it was wearing is 280239853R_ _ _) but it still didn't work.
I went into Developer mode and saw that for some reason it disables the car play options. I turned them back on restarted the unit but it still turned them off! Does anyone have any idea what else to do? I have the photos below.

Devices with initial version of firmware lower than 3.3.15.x (or it was 3.3.16.x) does not support CarPlay because of lack of PCB on device mainboard. This devices are usually FW ver 1. Only device with FW ver 1.1 and higher (production date May 2017 and latter) supports CarPlay as well.
2016 White 1.6 dCi 4WD BOSE with Premium Techno Pack, Winter Pack, Panoramic glass roof & autodipp mirror and retractable towbar.
Added ambient illumination, few chrome trims,
Replaced R-Link2 V2.2 SW version 9. 0.34.611, enabled Android Auto and CarPlay (change USB slots)
