Hi guys I have a 17 plate kadjar I wanting to upgrade the r link from 2 xxxx now every thing I have read mentions windows or iOS to use plus memory stick ofcourse . Now I just use a chrome book using chrome O/S for all my computer needs , am I going to have a problem here uploading ,TBH I have tried and failed once so I thought I would ask the question anyway.

For reliable operation you need either Windows or OSx. Memory stick must be formated as FAT32 without any other hidden things that might OS place on stick. You also need WinRar to properly expand software...

Why do you think that all diagnostic software runs on Windows platform? Related to APIs, direct communications to hardware, drivers...
