Well here goes my kadjar says it has brake assist, not able to find settings in r link. Spoke to the dealer he says it’s on the car but how would I know ... and why is the r link not showing in index. Anybody had the problem and if so was the dealer able to help ....

In the Menu Select..... Vehicle -> Driving Assistance and you should find the setting for Active Braking, I think

I have herd of this feature, but are you sure you want R-link's input to put the brakes on when it has trouble knowing where it is :)

I think i would need some assurance to switch that on

The brake assist is meant to stop you, or limit the impact, before you hit an obstacle providing you have applied the brakes and I think it also makes the brake lights flash when emergency braking.

Emergency automated brake assist is only in package with parking assistance, rear parking camera, blind spot detection and 360 sensor protection. So called Techno Premium packager. In that case you have seeting in R-Link.
Brake assist means that when you press brake on emergency it will raise a preassure in braking system and brake with full braking power. This is mechanical stuff.
EABS usess radar and brake automatically in case of emergency.
2016 White 1.6 dCi 4WD BOSE with Premium Techno Pack, Winter Pack, Panoramic glass roof & autodipp mirror and retractable towbar.
Added ambient illumination, few chrome trims,
Replaced R-Link2 V2.2 SW version 9. 0.34.611, enabled Android Auto and CarPlay (change USB slots)

Yes have all that parking cam etc and the dealer confirmed it’s on the car but not able to see it in r link, another glitch with the r link ... hope I never need it lol
