Thanks to this great forum I have been able to upgrade the maps to 2020 Q4 and Rlink to v3. Today I was able to use the debug file and activate Android Auto. 

But my phone won't connect with the cable? Bluetooth is fine and the phone is charging, but I can't use Android Auto. Any ideas? I have a 2015 Kadjar and Xperia 1ii.

Do you have a new icon under System like Phone Mirroring? If yes, most likely is a problem in USB cable. Use a quality one.

Replaced R-Link2 V2.2 SW version 9. 0.34.611, enabled Android Auto and CarPlay (change USB slots)

Thanks for answer.
I have just checked. I don't have the icon under system. Just went through the Developer Menu and everything is on. Have I done something wrong in the proces? :-)
