I have just purchased a 2 year old Kadjar and went to register on R Link going through the registration it is asking for the serial number do you know where I can find this ?

This is almost a Catch 22... You need the Rlink toolbox and yor USB stick to tell you the Serial, but you can't get the toolbox until you sign in to the store... etc, etc...

Stick a good quality 32GB USB Stick in the slot in the car, what two minutes and remove.

Install R-Link toolbox from above link, insert USB stick, when it gets recognised the serial number will be on the window you get to via the car icon top right.
