@tincek Yes, multimedia and climate controls are one whole piece in phase 2 Kadjar. You can't remove climate controls separately like in phase 1.
However if you go for the upgrade keep in mind you will also need climate control computer from phase 2 as well. (it's literally plug & play)

and in phase 2 you can replace the r link?

Originally my Kadjar had radio/bluetooth. I decided to upgrade but not from radio to R-Link (phase 1), but rather from radio to R-Link 2 (phase 2) Kadjar.
Necessary parts: 1x multimedia module, 1x climatisation module, 1x multimedia display with climate controls and all was almost plug and play.

Work was done in private shop, but unlocking of multimedia module was done by authorized Renault serviceman.
All functionalities which exist in multimedia are working correctly and everything is synchronized.

Additionally they installed original rearview camera into my Kadjar.
