,Hello to all forum users, I have a question. My Kadjar issue is 10.2016. I live in Israel and there is no update of maps for Israel, I receive an update only for Europe, so I thought about replacing r link with a Chinese android with Ali Express there is a big choice for my car. Someone changed what the consequences may be Share your experience ..

Good luck with that. R-Link is deep inside of dashboard. Display is separated. Don’t say it is not possible, but for sure you must find device which is capable to communicate with all computers... because all settings are manage trough R-Link... or reroute setting to be accesible trough menu in cluster with DDT4All
2016 White 1.6 dCi 4WD BOSE with Premium Techno Pack, Winter Pack, Panoramic glass roof & autodipp mirror and retractable towbar.
Added ambient illumination, few chrome trims,
Replaced R-Link2 V2.2 SW version 9. 0.34.611, enabled Android Auto and CarPlay (change USB slots)

Do you know what parameters to change for setting to appear in cluster with DDT4ALL?

If there are no maps for Israel on your R-Link why don't you just plug-in your mobile device and use Android Auto or Car Play?
On mobile device you can install any navigation app you like.

My Kadjar 2016 originally had radio/bluetooth, and first owner "upgraded" with some shitty multimedia from AliExpress.
As soon as I got my hands on that Kadjar I upgraded to multimedia R-Link from restyling (phase 2).
Now I fully enjoy in all capabilities that original multimedia offers.

Bottom line, don't upgrade to aftermarket solutions from AliExpress.
