Hi Team,
Had my 2017 Kadjar for a week now, still not happy with the auto gearbox starting away, too brutal.
My question today is about updating the R-Link. Downloaded all the updates needed onto a usb drive, plug into the car and it tells me it will take 40 mins to carry out the process and I have to keep the engine running. Most of my journeys are less than 30 mins so am I expected to sit in the car on my driveway burning petrol for the duration or is there a way of keeping the R-Link turned on continuously without the engine running?

Hi,

It will take less than 40 minutes - just start the engine and wait till the update completes.

It is important to wait patiently until the unit comes back to life after the update - screen will be completely black for a few minutes, you just wait and it will turn back on after a while.
