Strange you should tell me that others have had the R=Link update for a couple of months as it's only just shown up on my Toolbox as an available download.

It was only the previous day I had downloaded the new map and there was no mention of the R-Link update.. Well. I can look forward to re-inputting all my saved destinations yet again.
