Hi,
Just purchased a 66 plate kadjar with a rlink 2 (2.2 version) and I understand from my quick looking that I need a different version to enable my phone to send google maps to the screen.
Am I on the right lines?
How in gods earth do I do that? Not the best technical person and considering just getting a cradle to shove my phone in the window again but seems such a shame considering the fancypants screen in the car. I've come from driving and 09 plate for the last 10 years!!!

Any help super massively appreciated.

Hi and welcome. You don't say whether your phone is Android or iOS. If it's the latter then you can't do it. If on the other hand your phone is Android it is possible. There are a couple of extensive threads on this forum describing how to do it. Also there are more than a couple of very tech-savvy members who are always willing to help. First off look for a thread called "RLink firmware update 2.x to 3.3" and see what you make of it. You say that you are not very technically minded so maybe you have someone who can help you to understand it all. It works perfectly, I've done it myself and now run Android Auto on the main screen and have access to Google Maps, Waze and any other I want. Anyway see what you think.

Hi, thanks for replying.
I've an android phone and I've read through that thread (well some of it) and I can get my head around downloading a file etc but the debugging bit sounds mental.
I tried up update the maps but it says there isn't enough storage.
I need a tech person in Kent to come and sort it!!!! My brain hurts xx
