Good evening
I noticed today that on start up from cold my 2018 1.3 petrol kadjar,s radiator fan was running I checked inside and the climate control was set to 22 degrees and on the auto setting so I assumed the air con was running hence the fan being on .( Cold autumn day in uk)
I switched off the climate control and the fan stopped, however when I switched the climate control to manual ( I assume no air con as light not on ) the fan started running again.
Is this normal can I add that the temperature gauge gets to the mid point and stays there during journeys so I assume the thermostat is ok.
I also assume if the temperature switch for the fan has failed it will fail in the closed position (ie the fan will always be on )
Can anybody advise is this normal and also where the switch is located so I can test it if I need to
Please accept my apologies if this has been raised before thanks in anticipation
