Hello all
My first time here and I am about to make my first purchase. Its 1.5 dci snav but my question should I be giving it a wide birth as the car a 16 plate but as 74k on the clock. Would this be a good buy or should I be avoiding it.
Thanks
Bri

Mine is a year and half, and I've done 55K km so far, only with the family. So maybe it's not that much...

It'all down to your attitude to risk.

Personally today I would stay well clear, the 1.5 is a small engine and has to work hard, it's also quite highly tuned to get it to perform in a relatively large car like the Kadjar.

For half my life I bought ex company cars at around 3 years old, highest mileage was in the low 90k miles. I do low mileage and it was a good way to own a fairly new car at a good price. I never had an issue, but, these were all 2ltr cars so likely a little longer legged.
It would need to be a real bargain in my view.

My previous Scenic with 1.5 DCI was at 280 000 km when I sold it to the guy who was maintaining the car in his garage. Sill driving it, guess it's well over 300K km. Absolutely no problem while the car was mine. It all depends on how the car was driven and maintained.

That's right, the issue is the OP doesn't know how the previous miles have been driven.
