Hi folks

Just found this forum whilst searching for info on whether we can get the stereo on our new purchase to run Android Auto.

Our last but one car was a Grand Scenic (from the days before they were huge!), and we're thoroughly looking forward to getting back to keyless entry!

Welcome, keyless works well but just remember if you keep your keys in the same pocket as your phone, the leys are nearer the car than the phone. The range seems shorter than I've had on previous cars and is easily "shielded"

Thanks, but I never keep my phone in the same pocket as anything else anyway.

And actually, I'd see short range as a benefit rather than a problem.  I don't really want the keys to work until I'm within touching distance of the car.  

You would suspect a short range would be more secure, the issue I mentioned means you can jump up and down with your hand on the door handle but until I take out the keys it does see it. Phone is alway well cased so no issue dropping the keys in with the phone.
