I picked up my 70 reg GT line on Friday, and hoped to fit the 16 inch spare wheel that I retained from my old Kadjar, as I was told the new car had a puncture repair kit. After surveying the forum I noted that a 17 inch wheel was needed to accommodate the subwoofer, so spent a little time perusing ebay and so on to see what was available.
Just before ordering I thought I'd confirm the measurements that people had helpfully posted on here. I lifted the mat - to find that there is a new 145/90 16 spare wheel provided, plus perfectly fitting foam surround on top to support the base mat.
I'm not sure if I'm just lucky in having this setup, or whether the GT Line now comes as standard with a 16 inch spare wheel and factory-fitted foams. Plenty of room for a few odds and ends, spare clothes etc between the base mat and top shelves
Thought I'd mention it to see what others' experiences are. And a reminder to lift the mat and check, which I didn't do...!
