Hi folks,

Just bought a 2016 Signature. Absolutely delighted with it but with having the Bose, it doesn't have a spare tyre.  It does have the tyre inflation kit but we noticed it doesn't have a car jack. Should it? there's room for a Jack in the casing but there is only an inflation kit and wheel nut spanner.

Any advice/knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks very much :)

The spare wheel and tool kit/jack is an option on all models not just the Bose edition.

It was something like £125 to add this when new, the deals believed the standard 16 spare wouldn’t fit with the speaker, however as the fitting is the same as a lot of popular cars such as Nissans, it’s possible to get 17” and above space saver that the speaker will fit in and maintain the boot separation panel.  Of course you will need to find a suitable jack to go with it preferably a high lift type.

Thanks both very much for the replies, much appreciated.
so though there is room where a Jack should be, I assume it’s just a standard moulded fixture in the cars.

May look at getting a space saver 17” as haven’t used the tyre inflation kits before so not sure how effective they are. Assume it’s done without the need of a Jack?

thanks very much :)

The only time I’ve newly used an inflation kit, I discovered a rip in the tyre, when I had my Megane.

The inner foam insert can be removed the wheel sits in here, speaker sits in the wheel, you may need a longer fixing bolt.  The outer foam has the spaces for the tools and jack.
