Good Afternoon
I have a 65 plate 1.5dci Dynamique S Nav Auto. Had it for about 4 months and had 10K on the clock when bought.
Recently when applying brake, a loud metallic click/crack can be heard. Doesn't do it all the time but is becoming more frequent and seems to depend on braking situation.
Read on one of the Captur forums that this could be down to metallic rods attached to foot brake. Sounds like metal on metal noise.
Cars going into Arnold Clark tomorrow but as they are a main dealer I don't expect them to find anything.
Anyone else had this problem?

Happens to me from day one, when changing directions. Don't worry.

They'll find you a nice hefty bill that is for sure. Seriously find a good local specialist garage, they will charge less, be better skilled and more likely to hit on the problem which, if it "isn't on the trolley", then the main dealers often fail in there efforts.
