Just had this appear on my kadjar, its been recently serviced and all levels are good. I have noticed that i can now start the car without depressing both clutch and brake i can start it by pressing just one of them. Anyone any ideas ?

Providing you are out of gear the car should start with only one pedal, the brake which I use all the time unless in gear.

Is the parking brake operating properly?
If parking brake ok, does it feel like the brake pedal will hold the car?
If able, and providing brake pedal feels ok, drive car slowly backwards and forwards for a little distance, stop switch off, get out, lock car, enter car again and see if fault has cleared if it hasn't already done so before getting out. I had a similar fault warning on another vehicle and this solved the issue.
Long shot it could be just a sensor fault, have pads been touched?
Are the sensor cables attached to brake fluid reservoir?
