Hi folks

Recently my wife has been complaining (nothing really unusual at this point!...now to carry on..) that her Bose SigNav 66 plate auto is difficult to start from cold, especially in the morning. I've tried myself a couple of times now and the brake pedal is solid in the morning to the extent that pressing way beyond whats necessary still prompts the "press brake pedal and start" message on the dash. It starts every time when you try again but I'm concerned something safety related is going on.

I've crawled about it as much as I can, there are no leaks and there doesn't appear to be any chaffed pipes or worn parts (that I can see). My local dealers are willing to look under warranty but will charge me for investigation if they don't find anything?

Has anyone had similar issues so we can get it sorted and (I'm sorry but our Renault experience hasn't been the best) get rid of the damned thing?
