Hello All,

I can't find a topic related to this on the forum so i am asking the question.

I have just bought a 66 plate £21K mileage Kadjar all is fine apart from the noise when i go over speed bumps.
I have went over those bumps that are high on the roads you get in newish housing estates and have found that all four corners of the car make noises.
The noises are like there is no lubrication within the shockers, The noise is extremely noticable and so the reason for the question. Its not just the noise youcan gett from the vehicle moving up and down.
This is my first Kadjar and the first of a vehicle of this type and size, so i am wondering if it happens with other kadjars?
Its my fourh Renault and didnt happen on either if my Scenic's or Megane's

Thanks

I've had similar problem with my previous Renault. One of the causes could be the bearing an pads on top of the schock absorbers. Replacing them solved my squeaking- grinding noice when going over bumps (basically a cheap repair). The other cause could be the pads/bushings on the stabilizing rod. Spraying with silicone spray makes them quiet for a long time.

We had a similar issue with our 66 Kadjar, as AOne suggested it was a worn suspension top mount, fixed under warranty.

As yours is a 66 plate it may still be covered by Renault's warranty, if so I'd get it to a dealer ASAP.

Can you confirm with me that you have little to no noise then from the suspension since you had the problem fixed?

In our case the replacement mount fixed the problem.
