Saw someone posted on forum that there is an unofficial update to v8 from 2.2 will wait my try that one as dealers over here are a bit.... so I would rather do it myself 

Just got my car back from the dealer. Version 7 installed. At first all was the same and the problem persisted. Right after reapplying the patch for the unofficial maps all was working again. Probably system reboot fixed it.

awesome, did you had to downgrade to official version and how long it took?  probably will try myself later

p. s.  looking to upgrade map, wondering wich is the lastest update, I have 2020q2
 

just wondering if there is any other AA apps that would do same job, I saw for rooted devices there is one on Russian forum, but I am looking for unrooted, any one know any app?

Have you ever delete factory licences? Some custom sku made with SKU Creator may do it. Or it may be caused in case of unceccesful installation of updates.
Patches for the unofficial maps for 70241xx, 331696x and  903343x includes a set of licences, but patches for other versions and full updates does not include any lyc files.

It may be why installing patch helps.

I had a similar issue with Android Auto guidance on Koleos II (RLink 2 3.3.16.980). I repacked patch  for the unofficial maps for my version with djeman's UnpackR2 tool including factory licenses from  3.3.16.96x patch.

Now Android Auto works fine with all navigators.

I suppose, a similar result can be achieved if first install patch for 3.3.16.96х (navi may be not working) and then install patch for 3.3.16.98x.

If you have 7x version, just install patch for 70241xx.
For 8x and 9x it is necessary to create a new patch with licenses. I can do it on request.
