Hi,

I’ve installed a dash cam hard wire kit but am unsure which glove box fuse is best suited. I have a keyless Kadjar so without a standard ignition it’s tricky knowing which fuses are always on and which are switched. Ideally I’d like one that’s only live when you start the engine.
I’ve tried a few but the dash cam seems to stay powered even when the ignition is off, car is locked and the keyless card is far away. Any idea which fuse is best to use? I’m thinking maybe the ‘accessories sockets’ fuse?
If anyone’s got one fitted and happy with how it works could you check which fuse it’s connected to?

Thanks

Can I ask how you fed the cable to the fuse box. I.e. what route you took?
Thx in advance

The route is from dash cam on top of windshield by the central mirror through the edge of roof along the windshield, snap out the driver A pillar down to instrument cluster tuck under rubber seal and into fuse box cavity then piggyback fuse folder and ground and you are done.
