Hi all,

New here, but always on car forums!

Recently bought a 65 Kadjar 1.6 dci.....all was well for about a week!!

Then every 1st journey of the day after about 5 minutes the car throws a tantrum and pings up either the battery symbol or the message "electronic engine failure hazard".

This either continues to destination, or goes away until the next day. Or goes when the car is restarted for the next journey. No power loss etc just the constant beeping and warning.

I changed the stop/start battery as it was still the same one from new. Have had my code reader on it (generic P2503 01/02( charging system voltage low)) and a garage check over voltage spikes alternator etc...but nothing came back.

Is this common? Had Renaults before, but not anything like this!

Any guidance/help appreciated.....not to keen going straight to the dealer.

Many Thanks :)
