Hi all, having issues with my alarm going off at random times.
when I lock the car, I get 3 loud beeps. It will sit there for a while then the alarm will go off.

I have tried doing the diagnostic of pressing the unlock button  5 tines in quick succession. Which gives me 9 beeps. Which according to this forum means the analogical hood input.  I have no idea what this is, neither does google

Can anyone point me in the right direction

Three loud bleeps on locking the car indicates a fault, in this case the bonnet is open or the bonnet isn’t hitting the switch or the switch is faulty.
Tge alarm will activate after around 30secs when the arm time delay has elapsed because the bonnet is open.

had problem of alarm going off every 30 mins or so, looked on forum & found one or two things to try, alarm does not activate when holding the lock function on the fob,but it sounds 3 times but does work,  did try the advice of pressing the open 5 times quickly, but no noises after, any advice would be appreciated, going on a long trip tomorrow-300miles plus.
