I am a tall guy and I have custom car seat. I bought a second hand Kadjar and wanted to replace the original driver seat.
DISCLAIMER: working with airbags is dangerous. My article and you doing modifications on the electrical systems: you are responsible for the result or mishap.
My Kadjar has a leather, electrical adjustable driver-seat. This original Kadjar seat has 6 features, each having its own connector. The 6 connectors are at the front (under) the driver-seat. The seat features:
(*) Seat belt warning
(*) Seat position sensor
(*) Seat pressure sensor
(*) Airbag
Seat heating
Electric seat adjustment
(*) When a non-original seat is used, these features require actions to prevent (error-) messages, to make the car work properly, and to pass MOT.
It was quite some work to understand the features, what needed to be fixed, and find the solutions that would complete a seat replacement. I created a blog post that describes this exercise: https://beaukey.blogspot.com/2024/12/renault-kadjar-replace-driver-seat.html
Maybe this can save (or frighten) another Kadjar/Renault/other car driver time and efforts.
