I've just recently had a go at using the speed limiter, had this Kadjar for just over a year.
When you set the speed limiter and memorise it, is it cancelled when you switch off the engine or does it remain in memory?

I've never used it on mine, but assume it operates similarly to cruise control - which resets when the car is restarted.

Btw, what do you need the speed limiter for? I have the R-Link configured to beep when I'm over the speed limit, to warn me just in case I get distracted and overspeed, but never had the need to use the speed limiter.

Ditto. I have mine set up the same way beeps and the warning light comes on. But I thought since it's there might as well try it and that's when I found out that the set speed doesn't remain in memory if you stop the engine.
So now I don't need to try the cruise control because you tell me it doesn't remain in memory either. O'h well.

I have used both speed limiter and cruise control on different makes and models of vehicle and every one resets when engine has been switched off. If engine turns off due to Start/Stop function it does not reset.

I don't get it?! It's just a push of a button on the steering wheel to set speed. Why would you need it to be remembered? I'm using cruise control constantly even in the city traffic... All the time.

That's an interesting comment duracel3634 about the "no reset" with stop/start.
