Hope somebody can help me.  Had my 2018 Kadjar petrol car for 12 months or more and the engine top was clean when i bought it.  but now its showing greasy mark coming from somewhere.  I dont think its urgent but I want to clean it off replace a pipe or washer and not have it happen again.  Asked the local garage who confused me saying I needed to replace all the piework attached to the yellow connector in picture but didnt say what it was.
Picture attached,  I hope.

Thanks for any assistance as to what the yellow thing is and what the problem may be.
