TOPIC:

My car wouldn't start this morning. I suspected a flat battery. Finally got it started tonight when I came back in to work after leaving some jump leads on it for 10 minutes. Car started straight away after this, now it has a STOP and a SPANNER light on with a a warning for BRAKING SYSTEM FAILURE. It's now in limp mode, anyone able to help???

No that didn't help, I followed what people recommend doing, moving it forward and backwards. Still nothing, lights and message still appear. The brakes seem to be working fine so I can't understand what the issue is.

Still have low voltage on battery. Recharge it or better, chnage it.

Yep, car went in the garage Monday. Turned out to be a flat and knackered battery, got replaced and all is fine now. The error message turned out was thrown up due to the battery going flat and sending a message to the ECU

Did not have the trouble starting the engine but had the same warning symbols but mine took 4 weeks to get booked in... I came about the previous warnings had not been cleared by the dealer so it built up and a more serious warning was issued by the computer... no fault found with the brakes..... hope this helps. The dealer cleared all the minor faults as the system was not showing a brake fault even though the car dashboard was... after this the car was fine...
