The FL door panels can accommodate large bottles, which is essential to me. The problem is, however, that must change the door switches for the locks and mirrors (and also replace the central lock indicator next to the front air vents with a button). Has anyone tried that?

An alternative is to split the door panels and combine the upper part from the pre facelift with the lower part of the FL. This is not very easy as they are 2 parts glued together with heated plastic rivets. I am afraid that if I do this mod I will have loads of squeaky noises from the door panels
