Was checking out the wiring to add a reversing camera. Thought a quick guide to removing the boot trim may be handy. Please move if this is in the wrong area.
1. Remove the 3 T20 Towx screws

2. Panel can be pulled odd carefully (wiring not very long)

3. Disconnect number plate lights.

4. Pull to remove panel at top of screen, comes off pretty easily. Only 3 push fit clips.

5. Remove inner light covers (not sure if this was necessary).

6. Starting from the top, work down the "legs" of the trim either side.

7. Remove the 2 pop fastenings.

8. Remove the T20 torx screws from the grab handles and remove the handles.

9. At this point I chose to split the release switch rather than waiting to disconnect when the main trim section is released and removed the light/handle trim strip. Only one pair of hands. Small screwdriver in at the small centre lug.

10. Removed the main panel, You can see the locations of the pop fasteners. There is also 4 metal, flat spring type retainers along the upper edge, I released these last.

11. Photos of the wiring. I need to make an extension piece up for the camera install, but, the wiring is already in place.

12. Assembly is just the reverse. Note though, If you choose to split the boot switch, make sure the black plastic section on the inside is fitted correctly.
