On a 13 pin socket there is a loop wire that connects a pin to ground when the plug is inserted.
This tells the Rlink2 to turn off the reverse sensors and when unplugged turns the sensors on. It does need an alteration in the programming.
On a 7 pin, there’s not enough pins, it could be done by given up something thing but then becomes non standard and only suitable for use with one trailer/caravan etc.
You could leave it the amount of reversing that is done might not warrant the extra work, the reverse sensor will reset when the cars power is cycled.
Or in the Rlink2 vehicle, driver aids, parking sensors, turn them off manually, not forgetting to turn them on afterwards.
