Sadly I'm from Denmark, and the warranty is only 2 years. But I will give it a shot anyway.

Did you actually get it fixed under warranty then? We have had the same problem and the local Renault dealer, Arnold Clark, seems to be trying to wash their hands of it. The car is less than six months old, so plenty of warranty left.

Have had this problem twice, first time took back to renault dealer...they disconnected battery for 5 minutes, screen reboots on reconnecting.

Main screen went dead again some months later and disconected battery myself, left for 5 minutes & reconnected screen came back ok and has been good since.

Been a long time since had to do it so cannot remember if it loses data input to it.

I had the same blank main screen issue on my Kadjar 2017 Signature Nav and i did what was suggested but disconnecting the battery, leaving it for 5 minutes and reconnecting and the screen worked perfectly again. I would recommend doing this before going to main dealer.

Hi, after working as an AA and RAC patrol for over 16 years, I can confirm, many many many electrical bugs or weird issues are solved by carrying out a battery disconnect.
However, be careful.

Some Do’s and Don’t’s

If you have keyless entry, make sure key card are at least 5 metres away from the car when you do it.

You only need to disconnect the - Negative terminal(black) as this prevents short circuiting should you touch anything metal on the car with the spanner.

Normally 5 minutes is long enough.

Be careful, batteries can be dangerous. I have known sparks ignite battery gasses and explode. I have only seen it once in 16 years, but that once was enough.

So eye protection is really a sensible option.

Stay safe, and that will cure 99% of most oddities in 99% of modern vehicles today.

Hope this helps
