But to no avail! Still nothing, seems like no power to the unit, I may try disconnecting battery for half an hour and see if it resets.

Hi that has happened only once to me I just kept my finger on the button until it came on and when it did held my finger back on for 30 seconds and it reset everything 

I do recall one car on the old forum suffering similar issues and that had the screen itself replaced. Just can't recall if it was the centre screen or the main dash screen.

PS. note to duracel, got an error message in red when I posted that, say's "No alive nodes found in your cluster", WTF? sounds like a doctor's diagnosis to me, 

Damn Elasticsearch went offline, might give it a miss altogether, if it does it again!!

Hi, could not fix it, so went to renault, took them a day to diagnose then two weeks to order a complete new screen unit! Luckily still under warrenty so not too bad, however you have to re load everything you had on there as it goes to factory reset.
