TOPIC:

2016 Kadjar - Temperature Gauge takes approx 10 miles to register 2 bars. ran 87 miles on 2 bars then jumped to 4. sometimes after being at 4 bars gauge drops down to 2 bars??
told by Dumbarton Renault dealer this is "normal" he had drove 90 miles on 2 bars!

IS THIS NORMAL?

The thermostat is faulty.

I have just sent a lengthy reply which has apparently disappeared??
To cut a very long story very short - after banging my head against the wall and pleading with my local Renault Dealer and with the repetitive help from Renault Customer Support - the local Renault Dealer is presently replacing the "Instrument Cluster" on this 2016 Renault Kadjar Signature - under Warranty I trust

Instrument Cluster replaced and re-programmed - erratic Temperature Gauge problem sorted, at the same time "Start/Stop" which I thought to be intermittent NOW works EVERY time!!

I will look into it before my warranty runs out in July..
One thing the stop start is not ment to work all the time it should only work when conditions are right Renault say that themselves ..I googled it and loads on you tube saying same thing also it says it in hand book ..
Strange that! But loads go on about the stop start
