Hi everybody just a quick question. Is it possible to activate Android Auto via developers mode. I normally use DDT4ALL, but would be good to know.

Thanks

If you are running System 3.3.xx upwards then yes. I did it that way. There is a thread about updating from 2.2 to 3.3 which, if I am not mistaken includes the files needed and modus operandi somewhere on this site. Getting into Developer mode is a bit of a faff though. Patience is needed.

Once in developer menu > DiagRW > Gen 2.0 >
SVRP > Present
AAP > Present
Carplay > Present
Android auto > Present
SAVE (top of page) and return to developer menu. At bottom you will see Android Auto Projection & Car Play. Enable both before exiting.

Press and hold down volume button to do a soft reboot. Screen may go blank for like 10 seconds (this feels like an enternity when its your first time).

CarPlay might not work unless the head unit is a newer version and have the upgraded usb ports

How I can revert  the modification? Now when I plug the iPhone the phone start charging then stops charging and does the same again and again.  I enter again in debug mode and disabled AA and ACP but the USB issue persist.

I think your issue is from the phone, not the car. Try with another phone to be sure.

Hi, It's not the phone or the cable, I have already tried another iPhone and a brand new cable and the results are the same "power cycling". The phone was working without problems before change the setting in rlink2 debug mode. I have been reading about this issue and some users with a Koleos 2018 that changed those settings reports the same issue. One solutions is change the usb ports for a newer part, but I don't want to change any part right now, It's ok if I can find a way to revert the changes and keep the original functionality.
