I have R-Link 2 with software 2.2.15.703 and would like to update it but when I go to the official renault a site and enter the VIN number it tells me that there are no updates available.
I read that the software version 2.2.15.703 could not be updated on my own, but that I had to go to an authorized service center
Does anyone have an answer why they need to go to an authorized service center

Yes it is a dealer upgrade, it’s quite a big change and also installs a self load facility from 17.xxx onwards.

All to do with renault diagnostics tool, Clip, connects to a central uploading some big changes in big files

Is it possible to update to unofficial v3.3xx from 2.2.15.703?

I made the update from 2.2.15.703 bot ver 4711 to unofficial 3.3.x.x and activate AA. AA works a little bit laggy. No other problem except rear cam guidelines and voice command.

Meaning I updated version 2.2.15.703 to version 3.3
And you had no problems
So why does it say everywhere that this version cannot be updated without going to service?

The official update requires a visit to the dealer.

The 3.3 route uses modified firmware (from the Megane I think) , so, can be done via USB.
