Hi all
Just started to get a wet dog smell I. Car (I don't have a dog in the car at all.)
I tbi k it's from air con what can be done to cure it? Regas or air con bomb? Anyone else had this?

My advice is to check very carefully the carpet. A wet carpet smells just like a wet dog...

Had this issue in the beginning of the summer, when air-con was used again regularly. The dealer re-gassed it and cleaned it with some stuff. I suppose it was one of those, which are sprayed in the cabin whit the air-con left running. No problem afterwards.
Bust @Iustin70 is right. If so, your drainages under the wipers might be fool of trash. Clean them, cause otherwise, water is leaking in the cabin.

The carpets through out were dry. Liitle bit of water in boot around spare. So dried that up. Definitely think it's air con or fan related as when I turn on low the smell is worse than when on high. Will get the air con checked out.

I also have found in the past water in the boot. It appeared to be misaligned sealing of the wire loom from body to door (next to the hinges). Refitted it by just pushing itnin place and all was good afterwards.
