Today on the motorway a noise from engine bay then power loss then red stop light came on. Pulled over to hard shoulder. £144 for breakdown recovery to take me to Renault garage. £99 for investigation next week. This car has only 28689k miles. Car was last serviced and mot last March by Renault garage. So what can I expect? Unbelievable!

It's in Renault garage. When I rang them from the hard shoulder of motorway telling them what happened and that I was waiting for breakdown services they said I could be booked in February 11th! Yesterday was 29th January.
So I had no choice than to get the tow truck to take car straight to Renault garage and leave it there. Whether they will look at it before I'm not sure. They may 'investigate' what has happened so I'm waiting to hear back.
The year of this car is March 2016.
I bought it mid 2019. It currently has 28k miles on it. Serviced last year by Renault. Same garage as it is at now in Cardiff. I bought it at Renault in Salisbury.
Apparently in 2016 they only gave a 4 year manufacturer warranty. A new Renault today is 5 year.
A turbo shouldn't be blowing at 28k miles. I'm not happy.
