Just replaced our fronts with Falkens, saving £100 on each.
Conti's managed 12,000 miles before they were shot.
Too early to see how long the Falkens will last but already noticed a less harsh ride, minor potholes can now be negotiated without loss of teeth.

I have narrowed it down two tyres, has anyone fitted either of these?

Nexen N'Fera SU1 225/45 R19 96W
or
GT Radial Sports Active 225/45R19

Fitted the GT Radial on the front to replace the original Conti’s at 15k. Have driven a mixture of town, country and a 400 mile motorway journey on them and am extremely pleased with them so far. The Scottish winter awaits to see how they cope.

Several owners on the Facebook group have fitted the Nexens and recommend them highly. Some have fitted Roadstone, made by Nexen and tread looks identical. I am tempted to go for Nankang N-607+ all season tyres when my Contis wear out, which will probably be at around 24000 miles. Strangely, mine seem to have worn a lot better than others, even though I have 4WD.

When ever I have replaced Conti's on my van, I have always changed to Goodyear. I find Conti's wear way too quick, usually around 20K miles. Since changing them I have done a further 25k miles and still not ready to be changed, what does that tell you about Conti's
