Just for interest how much did it cost at your local garage. you do not have to say the exact amount just a % less than the dealer.

Cost of the pads were £33 and was charged £40 if it had been the pads and discs then it would have cost £93 parts and £75 labour... could have easily changed them myself but was advised because of the warranty best to have it done at a vat reg garage...blueprint was the make of the pads..

Thank you for saying, Now that was what I would say a fair price and I think you were correct the warranty is worth not violating.

And this is the bit buyers don't realise and are afraid of. Provided OE specification parts are used and fitted by a VAT registered garage then the warranty is maintained. It's easy to save a fortune on main dealer service and repairs if this is born in mind.
