The last couple of weeks my 68 ice Kadjar alarm has been sounding at odd times.Very annoying for neighbours and having to get up in the middle of the night to silence! I am waiting to return to dealer for attention next week.Is there anything I can do in the meantime? Can I temporary disable the alarm?

This might prove useful in trying to locate what’s causing the alarm issue.
I had a problem that gave me three beeps when resetting the alarm, turned out to be my battery wasn’t so good after numerous short journeys during this cold spell. A 40 mile journey soon had the battery health back up to scratch and no more alarm issues.

Thanks to Paul for these codes, managed to establish my tilt sensor faulty as gone off couple of times in last few months, took to local Renault dealer who was well aware of problem and disconnected the tilt sensor, he said he had lots of Kadjars in last few months with same problem, and all had their tilt sensors disconnected.

Apparently Renault talking with alarm suppliers over solution, maybe also involving replacing all Kadjar tilt sensors during servicing in future once Renault find a solution.

Cheers.

Steve.
