Hi guys and gals,
Has anyone found a way to deactivate ESP on models without dedicated button. I was on a slope with wet snow today and the car just didn't let me go. Really frustrating. Finally took out my textile snow chains and all was done in 30 seconds including putting them back into the trunk. The wife laughed at me the whole time, being passed by audies and bmws. I know about adding the extended grip button, but isn't there a simpler way?

It can be done with ddt4all, presents a traction switch on/off in the Rlink2 menu.  You could also fit the x pac rotary switch, think there are on AliExpress now.
either way it’s only active below 25mph.

think there’s a YouTube video of the settings.

Thanks a lot mate. The one with the appearance of additional button in RLink's menu is perfect for me. I've done it, the button is there, but I can't say is it working properly or not (the snow is much less). It's supposed to revert back to Automatic ones the speed exceeds 25 km/h, but I think I saw the ESP light blinking at 20 km/h. Can anyone confirm it's working with Kadjar as some people say it's not in our cars?

On mine it turns on automatically higher than 50km/h. But I have a dedicated switch. Which reminds me that wireing is already there, just a knob is missing.
BTW, I attend a class for SUV owners and must say that in last pratcice if no 4WD and diff lock there is no way to pass…

Problem solved. Under 50 euro from Aliexpress, including delivery. Arrived to Austria in less than 3 weeks.

Hi,

I have the same frustration with this. A lot of times when going on steep hills one wheel slips ( if its wet) and I notice engine slowing down ( damping) which causes, in most cases,  need to go back and try the climb again.
I have OBD connector and ddt4all, can someone please share some HOWTO that he tried and that works ?  ( adding option to the Rlink menu)
