Hi Gents
I have a 2019 1.3 TCe petrol Kadjar with only 23.000 miles, I currently have a 'Check Anti Pollution System' sign come up on the dash display but the car drives fine with no signs of problems 
My local HiQ garage looked at it today and 'think' it is a problem maybe a blocked DPF filter, but say only Renault have the special tools to address the problem  but think it may only need a 'blow out' (whatever that is?)
However our local good old Renault garage say there is a minimum £125 diagnostic check charge 
Do readers think Redex petrol cleaner would clear the job?
Anyone else had the problem?

a petrol engine has dpf filter? i thought only diesel has a dpf filter.
 

Hi  Oh I am no mechanic and at 78 I am not sure which filter in the catalytic petrol Kadjar but HiQ said they do not have the tools equipment to check the catalytic converter, I have read on line that driving for about 5 miles at high revs will also help to heat and burn off the catalytic converter

The Halfords Petrol cleaner is Redex Petrol system cleaner

if you have the secong gear and go to 5000rpms for 15 sec and then the third gear and go to 5000 rpms gor another 15 sec will burn them all the remains

Tried revving  twice as above but did not work so  took it to our local Renault garage 
Renault say its because the DPS ( Differential Pressure Sensor) is covered in soot and needs changing and on top of the min £120 charge for a 'diagnostics check' today want a further £350 to change it.

The cause is they say is because I do not drive enough miles, how is it having had dozens of cars before from Mini's to Mercede's 
I have never had the problem before even my wife's 2017 Fiesta has only 8700 miles!
Is this a problem with all Kadjars ?  or my driving ?

The car may have to go as I cannot afford to pay another £350 when the car  does 43.000 miles which is a shame as to date it has been one of the best cars I have had
