Second time in last 12monnths that I have had the radiator fan continue to run after switching the engine off, is this part of the regen process?

In the first instance I would expect this to happen If you are somewhere hot.

If the engine has been left running and there has been no movement of the car on a very warm day that causes the fan to start and you switch off I would also expect the fan top continue for a period of time.

I'm currently living in the north of the UK so not exactly tropical lol, so don't believe that's the cause but thanks for the reply.

OK, so I am in the south of England where it gets warmer and I have never heard mine kick in at all

I live in South Wales did not notice it so much when we were in France very warm but hat it happened a few times in the last couple of weeks..air. temp has been 16 - 20 so was thing something was wrong as well ..

Thanks for your reply, I don't think its an overheating problem as the temp at the time was in the normal position, the regen sounds feasible but having gone through the owners manual can't find any reference to this, my daughter's focus indicates that you need to keep driving for the regen to complete but no such information on the kadjar.
