i am interested to see if people think its worth it or not?

1.6 turbo petrol or diesel? if it is diesel i would put a tuning box (because you can take it off if you will sell it after and use it to the new car)

Hi there did you get the remap done, any noticeable improvements. I am also looking to have mine done but am struggling to find someone to do it due to they say car will go into sleep mode so they can't read the ecu.

A "proper" remap should be done on a rolling road, or, rarely, with the ECU removed. So, no chance of the ECU going into sleep mode. On an unmodified engine, not really worth it. Cost itro £300 to £600.

Tuning boxes, all they do is fool your ECU into putting in more fuel, normally, by tricking the temperature reading to the ECU. Cost £pennies to around £300.

Whilst this "can" give a little more power, it will "NOT" give you improved economy as most suppliers state they will. At worst, you can get your engine bores washed with fuel, leading to engine wear and/or diluted oil and even engine failure in the log term.

You pays your money, you take your chances.
