Yes, right. If he was making update to V7 (guess in the dealer's garage), the chance of bricking the device were 75%, anyway. There are more and more people with dead RLinks, complaining in the German forum. The thread is more than 450 post already and growing every day.

In the SkuHelper.exe there is option to generate "delete" command. I did check it and it works fine, managed to delete a file and verified this by fingerprint decrypt util. It might be useful in case of low space. Unfortunately I did not find the way to check free space. In blablabla-main.xml the partition size looks unbeleiveble small. On r-link android settings (dev mode) it is not clear which partition is "internal storage" but looks like the main one (for apps).
Also builtin zip in totalcommander works fine so you can use it instead of winrar 3.63. The 7-zip doesn't make suitable format (yes I did select "store" compression level).
Next I am going to buid HERE 2018.q4 map package in 3 parts (6gb) + 1 additional part to delete some remainings from my current TOMTOM map package.

I've just made a new set with SpCams and POIs from TomTom2018Q4 map and will share the link as soon as the upload is over (already installed it in the RLink). After, I'm intending to make a file only with 3D buildings, to check the differences between TomTom and Here Maps and will share impression.

I've installed the TomTom 3D buildings. In the smaller towns it's worse than HERE. In bigger parts ... well, it's different. The graphics are less colored (wich I prefer). I'm pretty sure, both sets could be installed simultaneously (with different names), but don't know what would happen at overlapping buildings.

I will post link as soon as upload finished... My version of HERE 2018.4. 4 files. If somebody can try to upgrade. I get "Initialisation error" as soon procedure moves from preparing to checking licencse...
I do not know weather is problem with my device or with my procedure building maps...
