I saw in your signature you have 2018.4 maps installed... Since I have a bit of problem with them... Can you share yours?
2016 White 1.6 dCi 4WD BOSE with Premium Techno Pack, Winter Pack, Panoramic glass roof & autodipp mirror and retractable towbar.
Added ambient illumination, few chrome trims,
Replaced R-Link2 V2.2 SW version 9. 0.34.611, enabled Android Auto and CarPlay (change USB slots)
Maps: Here 2022Q2

Ah, sorry. It's a mistake :) But I'll compile the set if you want and upload them. I was actually waiting for HERE 2019.Q1 to update my maps.

AOne, sure I will answer, fill free to ask!

Regarding partition size and free space. I beleive it can be found in decrypted fingerprint file (the .json file you get using wlsdecrypt util). There are two "partition" blocks at the end of the .json file, one partition is "/data", second is "/map". Partition sizes and free space are specified not in bytes, but in count of 4kb blocks. So you should mutiply the size by 4096.

For example, at the end of my .json file:

    "free": 1539383,
    "reserved": 0,

For this case there are 1,539,383 * 4,096 = 6,305,312,768 bytes (almost 6GB) free for maps.

Thanks' for that. After installing HERE 2018.3 I have 2 gigs left of free space. Is this normal?
How can delete obsolete/unwanted maps/files from /map?

I get "Initialisation error" as soon procedure moves from preparing to checking licencse

I suspect it is connected to the only one specific file: Russia_HERE_2018.Q4_181205_(JV).fjv. This is quite special file type for junction vews. But it is not (JW).fjw, they are different, and for Russia there are both of them present. Solution is obvious, remove that only one file Russia_HERE_2018.Q4_181205_(JV).fjv. You even don't lo lose junction views for Russia as there is standard type. I don't know why both of them are included. And I am not sure if it will help with the error. But worth to try. And quite interesting, maybe I will check this.
PS: I did check and this file is actually the root cause of the error, just delete it
