Hi my kadjar went in for mot yesterday and passed but they gave an advisory on the front tyres which are down to 2.5 mil at 17500 miles so I reckon that they will be changed about 20k on the front obviously the fronts are always going to wear faster as it’s front wheel drive. The backs still have 5mm on so they could probably do 30k plus.the dealership gave me a price for nexens so I’m a little undecided at the mo.i was a tyre fitter for 16 years and would only buy premium brands back in the 90s.

19 inch wheels. we had a set of budget m&s tyres for my set of winter 17 inch alloys... the 17s have a much better ride over the pot holes no matter what tyres you use...

i also have the 19", which as you say have a bumpy ride. I have fitted avons to mine as they have such good ratings for wet but do wear quickly. i had a puncture the other day and had to fit what was it stock as my Kadjar doesn't come with a spare wheel. It was a Roadstone which i'd never heard of. It's rating are C and C which wasn't bad for a tyre @ £82. lets see how it performs!

Hi I decided to take your advice and went for the nexen tyres today I couldn’t warrant spending £168 each on Contis I’m impressed good tread pattern a lot more quieter on the road it will be interesting to see what mileage I get out of them.only problem now is the steering wheel isn’t straight
