I wish to buy a replacement tyre inflator as mine, which is well over 20 years old, has developed a problem. I see that many of the current models need 15-20amps. There are two fuse ratings of 10 and 15amp on the fuse board layout but no idea which physical one is the 15amp one. Is it the one next to the usb sockets or the one behind the central storage box compartment? Has anyone any idea please.

I always use the one next to the usb sockets, but I am sure you could also use the one in the rear

Usually car power sockets are rated at 20 amps

I agree they used to be 20amps when we had conventional wired systems but with the bus systems it appears to be different, at least with Renault. The attached pictures show the Kadjar has only 10 and 15amp aux socket feeds. The symbol of the circle with two dots are the aux sockets.

Did you not get an inflator with the car along with the tyre repair gunk? I've used ours via the rear socket without any issue.
